Since its launch four years ago, Google’s service has reached the 25-billion mark of total app downloads with no signs of slowing down. To show their gratitude for this remarkable feat, the search giant will be bringing the price of selected apps down to $0.25 (PhP10.44) a pop.

The company didn’t mention specifically which app will have its price reduced, but we can probably expect that some popular apps from reputable app developers like Gameloft and Electronic Arts will go on sale.
The celebration/sale will kick-off starting today and is said to go on until the end of the month (or on the 1st of October, depending on where you’re reading this post). There are already a handful of apps that is on sale like the Angry Birds Space, Office Suite Pro and Asphalt 7 and you can definitely expect more as the days went on. Checkout Google Play on your device or their site every now and then to get the latest update about which apps are on sale.
