iPhone 12 Case revealed by Spigen

Listen to article

Apple is set to announce the new iPhone 12 series for 2020 this October. While there have been many leaks about how it looks like, we’ve also gotten a hold of an early release of iPhone 12 cases by casemaker Spigen.

Based on the actual design of these cases, it looks like there will be 3 sizes for the new iPhone in 2020.

The biggest among the three is indicated as 6.7 inches, followed by a 6.1-inch version while the smallest is a 5.4-inch model. This is a slight upgrade to the current line-up of iPhone 11 devices (6.5”, 5.8”, and 4.7”).

Following the naming format, we might see an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and an iPhone SE 3rd gen 2020. The iPhone SE 2020 will get the biggest bump in size, from 4.7″ to 5.4″. This coincides with an earlier leaked report of a 5.4-inch iPhone 12.

Also, based on the images in the boxes for the cases, both the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will retain the triple-camera configuration while the iPhone SE 2020 will get a dual-camera setup from the single-camera of the previous generation.

The squarish configuration of the camera module for the iPhone SE 2020 will make it look very similar to the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.

So far, that’s everything we were able to gather from the boxes of iPhone 12 cases from Spigen as of the moment.

We’ll know more once Apple finally reveals the new iPhone 12 series this month.
