GoTyme Bank kini menjadi kartu debit Visa yang paling banyak digunakan di Filipina. Pencapaian ini diumumkan pada 19 Februari oleh bank digital dan perusahaan pembayaran global, Visa. Bank ini mencapai peringkat teratas karena lebih banyak orang sekarang menggunakan ponsel dan kartu mereka daripada uang tunai untuk membayar barang.
Currently, GoTyme has over eight million users across the country. In 2025, the total amount of money spent using these cards grew by more than 150 percent. The bank also holds over ₱43 billion in customer deposits. This growth happened because the bank makes it easy for people to get a card quickly at kiosks and use modern features like Google Wallet and "tap-to-pay."
Visa recognized GoTyme for having the fastest growth in active cards and touch-free transactions. This success is part of a plan to help the Philippines move toward a "cash-lite" society, where digital payments are the main way to shop. The bank is a partnership between the Gokongwei group and a digital banking group called Tyme.
Leaders from both companies say the goal is to make banking simple and beautiful so that more people can trust the brand. By working together, they hope to bring these easy payment methods to more people in Asia and Africa. For now, GoTyme continues to grow by offering secure and fast ways for Filipinos to manage their money every day.
