SearchGPT AI search engine launched by OpenAI

Listen to article

SearchGPT, an AI-powered search engine, has been launched by OpenAI. The platform serves as an alternative to Google that offers a search engine backed by context and intent.

At the moment, the company is still testing the prototype version of SearchGPT. However, it’s slated to provide its users with a new way to search for information.

In comparison to traditional search engines, the platform will have a search box for queries similar to ChatGPT.

From here, the program will give users a comprehensive, step-by-step answer with relevant images to provide context. It aims to be more of an intuitive and direct approach to searching.

The engine is powered by AI technology, inclusive of Natural Language Processing and OpenAI’s own GPT language models. This enables SearchGPT to cater to user queries more efficiently for all intents and purposes through relevant responses.
