Samsung announces devices getting Android Pie updates

Samsung has announced the devices that will get the Android Pie update in the coming months.

The new Android version will ship along with Samsung’s new One UI on the following devices in these time frames:

  • January 2019
    Galaxy S9
    Galaxy S9+
  • February 2019
    Galaxy Note9
  • March 2019
    Galaxy S8
    Galaxy S8+
    Galaxy Note8
  • April 2019
    Galaxy A8+ 2018
    Galaxy A8 2018
    Galaxy A9 2018
    Galaxy A7 2018
    Galaxy Tab S4 10.5
  • May 2019
    Galaxy J4
    Galaxy J4+
    Galaxy J6
    Galaxy J6+
    Galaxy A8 Star
  • July 2019
    Galaxy J7 2017
  • August 2019
    Galaxy J7 Duo
  • September 2019
    Galaxy XCover 4
    Galaxy J3 2017
    Galaxy Tab S3 9.7
  • October 2019
    Galaxy Tab A 2017
    Galaxy Tab Active2
    Galaxy Tab A 10.5

The devices that will be updated were announced at the company’s Samsung Members app. Release would most likely be on time as we’ve seen the company seed the S9 Android Pie update earlier than expected.

The update rolled for the s8 and s8+ but still none with the Note 8?
