Meta has announced a new Meta AI support assistant across Facebook and Instagram.
The Meta AI support assistant is aimed at improving user support and strengthening content enforcement.
It is now rolling out globally and offers 24/7 help directly within the apps and desktop Help Center.
The assistant can answer questions, resolve account issues and even take action on tasks like reporting scams, resetting passwords and managing privacy settings. The company says the assistant can respond in under five seconds.
Alongside this, Meta is expanding its use of advanced AI systems to detect harmful content more accurately.
Early tests show the systems can identify scam attempts, impersonation accounts and violating content more effectively while reducing enforcement errors.
The company says these tools will continue to evolve to improve safety and user experience across its platforms.
