2019 Mid-Range Smartphones Still Worth Getting in 2020

If you’re in the market of mid-range smartphones, then you’re in luck because we have compiled some of the best 2019 mid-range smartphones that are still worth getting in 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A50s


First on this list is Samsung Galaxy A50s. Its got a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Exynos 9611, 4GB of RAM, and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. Upfront, you have an Infinity-U display, and at the back, you get what Samsung calls “Glasstic” finish. Vivo V17 Pro

Equipped with dual front-facing cameras, the Vivo V17 Pro has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675AIE, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo V17 Pro also features a dual pop-up camera consisting of 32MP and 8MP lenses, at the back you get a quad-camera setup; 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 13MP telephoto, and 2MP depth sensor.

The Vivo V17 Pro is priced at PHP 21,999.

Huawei Nova 5T

One of 2019’s most loved mid-ranger, the Huawei Nova 5T is still worth getting in 2020. This device can undoubtedly take great images.

Oppo Reno 2F

One of the best selling mid-range smartphone of 2019. The Oppo Reno 2F sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a pixel density of 394ppi. Powering the Reno 2F is a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Its got a quad-camera setup, a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP mono lens, and 2MP depth sensor.

The Oppo Reno 2F is priced at PHP19,990.

Redmi Note 8

A product of Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 8, is one of the sleekest designed smartphones on this list. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, up to 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It also sports a quad-camera setup; 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth.

Nokia 8.1

If you want a Nokia device that runs on Android One, then you should check out the Nokia 8.1. It is made out of a series-6000 aluminum, with a 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS display, Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. Its got a 12MP and a 13MP rear cameras with ZEISS optics and a 20MP front-facing camera.

TCL Plex

TCL’s first attempt on the smartphone market, the TCL Plex offers a 6.53-inch Dotch display, a Snapdragon 675 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. At the back of the Plex resides the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and its triple-camera setup.

Priced at PHP 15,990, the TCL Plex has a pretty good design, decent performance, and above-average battery performance.

At the back of the S8 Plus, you’ll find its triple-rear cameras, a fingerprint scanner on the right side, and a 3,250mAh battery.
