All ASUS Zenfone 5 Variants in PH Compared

The ASUS Zenfone 5 landed on local shores last July which quickly gained popularity due to the sweet balance between its specs and price. A month after that, a new variant became available sporting a larger internal storage. Three months later and we now have the Lite version that came as a slightly more affordable alternative. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of all the ASUS Zenfone 5 in the Philippines.

  1. Hi,

  2. sir correction lang, ung 500cg is 2.0 ghz and sold for both 6495 and 6995 for 8 and 16 respectively

For 501cg ganun din sa pricing, sold ofr both 6495 and 6995 for 8 and 16 respectively also

  3. actually yung sabe mong 2GHz imported yan yung nirelease lang sa PH ay yung 1.6GHz

  4. Akala ko ba all variants? Bat po wala ung snapdragon variant?
Meron namang nirilease nun dito ah…

  5. dba magkaiba ung Li-Ion sa Li-Po? sabi li-Pol daw Zen5. eh Li-Ion naman.

  6. While the previous Zenfone 5 models came with Android 4.3 out of the box, ASUS has released KitKat for them as well. Yun lang nga, OTA ata yung upgrade

    • Yup, OTA ang update to Kitkat. My Zenfone 5 was updated to it. Noticeably smoother na ang experience ko.

  7. Nice specs but the battery is reportedly abominable.

  8. No version with LTE feature and Full HD resolution?

    • Not available in the PH.

  9. Is there an LTE ready version?
The problem i have with zenfone 5 is the battery and heats up quite fast.

    • There’s Zenfone 5 LTE which isn’t officially released here in the country, but you can get one through gray market sellers.

  10. eh ano po yung nka lagay sa billboard sa EDSA sa gitna ng Boni and Guadalupe na ZENFONE na 3,999 something ?? san po yun mabibili?? many thanks

    • Baka Zenfone 4 yon, available mostly wherever the 5 and 6 are sold. Pero may nabasa akong review (baka c/o Yuga and co.) na hindi maganda yung display — among others — ng Zenfone 4. If that doesn’t bother you, OK na rin yung presyo
