ASUS quietly outs Zenfone Max M1 at MWC 2018

While all the craze and attention was at the unveiling of their new Zenfone 5, ASUS stealthily introduced a new device behind the curtains. From the shadows, the company quietly revealed a new variant of the Max line — the Zenfone Max M1. Not to be confused with the earlier introduced Zenfone Max Plus M1, though it’s being touted as its toned-down sibling.

The Zenfone Max M1, like all the new devices being introduced recently, features an 18:9 aspect ratio display. However, screen resolution is only at HD+ (1440 x 720) and screen size is at 5.5-inches as opposed to the 5.7-inch Full HD+ that the Max Plus has.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 or 430 processor, Adreno’s 308 or 505 GPU, 2/3GB of RAM, 16/32GB  of internal storage, ZenUI 5.0 on top of Android Oreo 8.0, and a 4,000mAh battery.
