Google introduces Android 14 Beta 2

Google has announced the Android 14 Beta 2 during their I/O conference. It showcased the features and eligible devices that can acquire the next Android software.

Google has revealed key features to the next Android software. Notable additions include support for 10-bit ultra HDR images, camera extensions, and in-sensor zoom.

Android 14 Beta 2 will now support lossless audio formats for wired earphones, advanced graphic features and enhanced data sharing updates. Google has also revealed Health Connect – an app to track a user’s health and fitness.

The following devices are eligible for the Android 14 Beta 2 update:

  • Pixel 5 and 5a
  • Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • OnePlus 11
  • Nothing phone (1)
  • Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro
  • iQOO 11
  • Vivo X90 series
  • Realme GT 2 Pro
  • Oppo Find N2 Flip
  • Lenovo Tab Extreme
  • Tecno Camon 20 series
