HONOR has officially unveiled two new smartphones under its Magic 8 series in China, introducing the HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air and the HONOR Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design. The launch took place on January 19.

The HONOR Magic 8 Pro Air focuses on a slim and lightweight design. It measures just 6.1mm thick and weighs 155 grams, making it one of the thinnest flagship phones announced this year. Despite its slim build, it comes with a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and high brightness for outdoor use. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and runs MagicOS 10 based on Android.

For cameras, the Magic 8 Pro Air features a 50MP main camera and a periscope telephoto lens, supported by AI features such as an AI zoom array flash that adjusts lighting based on distance. It also packs a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, aiming to balance battery life with its thin body.

The HONOR Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design model highlights premium design and performance. Inspired by Porsche sports cars, it features a unique body shape and exclusive color finish. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Mobile Platform, paired with up to 24GB of RAM. Its camera setup includes a 200MP telephoto lens and a 50MP main camera, supported by Honor’s AiMAGE engine for clearer photos and better color accuracy.

This model also carries a larger 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. Prices in China start at 4,999 yuan for the Magic 8 Pro Air and 7,999 yuan for the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design.
