With Qualcomm’s announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, MediaTek has officially unveiled the chipset that rivals that: the Dimensity 9300.

Mediatek Dimensity 9300

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 sports an Immortalis G720 GPU, can utilize LPDDR5T RAM, sub-6GHz/mmWave (7.9Gbps), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and up to 320MP, 18-bit ISP with video support up to 8K@30FPS and 4K@60FPS.

The Dimensity 9300 features four Arm Cortex-A720 and four Cortex-X4 processor. The X4 can go up to 3.25Ghz while the A720’s efficiency is up to 2.0Ghz.

The first device to be powered by this new chipset is the vivo X100 series that is expected to launch in China soon. We’ll update you more on that when we hear more.
