The ASUS Pad is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. MediaTek has introduced two new smartphone chips, the Dimensity 7450 and Dimensity 7450X, aimed at improving gaming, camera, and overall phone performance. MediaTek said the chips include a new AI engine that can improve AI tasks like camera processing by up to 7 percent compared to older models. For gaming, the chips use MediaTek HyperEngine and Adaptive Gaming Technology 3.0. MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 9500s, a powerful new chip aimed at sub-flagship smartphones, sitting just below the top-tier Dimensity 9500. MediaTek has announced a new addition in the Dimensity series, the Dimensity 9400e. It is positioned as a flagship chip, though it is likely to be designed for sub-flagship devices. MediaTek has unveiled a new budget gaming 4G chipset, the MediaTek Helio G200. The GPU is still a Mali-G57, but MediaTek claims it runs slightly faster at 1.1GHz.
