MediaTek is reportedly set to rename its upcoming sub-flagship chipset from the previously rumored Dimensity 9350 to Dimensity 9400e. This strategic move aims to align the new processor more closely with MediaTek’s current flagship lineup, enhancing its market positioning.

According to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, the Dimensity 9400e is based on the Dimensity 9300 architecture but features significant enhancements, effectively making it a “Dimensity 9300++.” This suggests that the 9400e will offer superior performance compared to the existing 9300+ variant.
In related developments, reports indicate that OnePlus is developing a new smartphone, purportedly named the Ace 5V, which will be powered by the Dimensity 9400e. This device is rumored to feature a substantial 7000mAh-class battery and a flat 1.5K display, positioning it as a formidable contender in the sub-flagship segment.
While MediaTek has yet to confirm the official launch date for the Dimensity 9400e, the rebranding and anticipated performance enhancements underscore the company’s commitment to delivering competitive alternatives in the high-performance chipset market.
