Nokia “Bandit” poses for a photo, shows off 6-inch screen

Along with the online gossips about a Windows RT-powered tablet, Nokia is also rumored to be working on a 6-inch Windows Phone handset which currently goes by the moniker Bandit.

lumia 1520

The , Bandit’s official product name according to @EVLeaks, is also believed to sport a 1080p resolution to go along with its massive display. If it materializes, then the “Bandit” will not only be the biggest WP8 handset to date, but also the first to break the 720p barrier.

Other details like its inner workings (processor, RAM, etc.) remain scarce as of the time of writing. However, given that it is scheduled to make its debut in latter part of September, you can bet that we’ll hear more about Nokia latest brainchild in the next coming weeks.

  1. Memo to Nokia:

No one cares anymore. WP8 is so boring. It makes you boring and unworthy of consumer money. Sell your company and rest now. You are old and out of time.

PS. Go Android. Maybe a second wind is waiting for you.

  2. no one daw oh! galing ah! igeneralize ba daw! haha!

  3. Windows (pocket pc) is one of the original smartphone OS (with palm) with touchscreens. Without them there will be no IOS or Android.

Nokia chose WP because of the Android market is already crowded… and sometimes chaotic.

I think Nokia and MS will reinvent themselves. Balmer is stepping down soon and I believe someone visionary will replace him.

  4. Abuzalzal! Hirit na!!!

  5. ang daming basher ng nokia and windows phone! e hindi p nman nila nsubukang gumamit nun..ksi cherry mobile and my phone lng n lag droid ang afford nila..porket konti lng daw ang apps at kung ano-ano png criticisms. mga pinoy tlaga. mahilig sa bandwagon. porket sikat ang android hndi ibig sabihin n ms mganda xa sa nokia and wp8..subukan nu munang gmitin bago mg comment.

  6. The better way to see it is like this, wala naman kasi chery torque myphone etc that runs on windows kya d nla natry to learn if appreciable or not. On the other, ang mga nakatry ng windows prior to 8 will swear pangit talaga, especially, behind din ang nokia sa hardware. And then, improved n ang android starting sa ics, at sa 4.2.2 it is really well worth especially if branded ang sau, waterproof, all glass, at 6.3 inches. I am not saying wala ako nokia 1025, its just that, sabihin nlang natin, pang break if bored ako sa android or gusto ko ibato ang fruit ios sa bagal ng hardware at dilim ng display nia. Or wla nman apps sa bb10. At d end of the day, ang cp ay depende sa kung saan mo gagamitin, not da brand or os. But pamukpok ng bawang ilagay sa sukang nipa sawsawan ng pulutan inihaw, nokia phones are really handy and sturdy. Thats a compliment nokia.

  7. nokia 1025? now look who’s talking. Both of you, ally and mimi, should know what you’re talking about. There’s no nokia 1025, it’s lumia 925. if u want lagdroid, fruitless ios or crackberry, then stay with it.

  8. Mimi, pabayaan mo na sila, mganda ang pagkksabi natin, I guess kung hindi na kyang abotin ng intindi nila,o maabot ng kaalaman nila, we just have to accept reality, talagang gang doon lang level nila. Wag kang bumaba sa level nila. Pabayaan mo nlang sila. Ok mimi.
