After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10+, DxOMark has released a report on how its cameras fare and it did not disappoint.

The Galaxy S10 got an overall score of 109 points which is caused by two parameters — the photo and video quality. For the former, the device received 114 points with the following pros and cons:

Pros

Accurate white balance and good color rendering
Low noise levels when shooting indoors and in low light
Wide dynamic range and excellent highlight protection
Well-exposed flash images with hardly any light fall-off
Good detail in close-range zoom images
Realistic bokeh effect with good blur gradient and shape

Cons

Lack of fine detail in most conditions
Loss of sharpness across the field
Lack of detail at longer zoom settings
Ringing in bright light
Some subject isolation artifacts in bokeh mode

The video only got 97 points which, 2 points less than the Xiaomi Mi 9 score. Here are the pros and cons:
