Samsung has officially unveiled its new smartphone with a foldable design, the Galaxy Z Flip.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip boasts a compact and stylish design. It folds into the size of a wallet, but when opened, it reveals a 6.7-inch screen with a 21.9:9 aspect ratio. It uses Samsung’s Infinity Flex Display with the company’s proprietary Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) and Hideaway Hinge with sweeper technology that uses nylon fibers crafted by micro-height-cutting technology to repel dirt and dust.
Samsung has also announced that they have collaborated with fashion designer Thom Browne and will be launching a Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition. The Thom Browne promotional video showed not only the Galaxy Z Flip outfitted with Thom Browne’s signature colors, but also a Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Buds. Samsung will announce more details about the collaboration during Fashion Week.
