Summary of advantages

OPPO F7 Youth:
* Higher screen resolution
* More powerful CPU, GPU
* AI-assisted rear camera
* Larger storage
* Larger battery

Vivo Y85:
* Slightly larger screen
* Dual rear cameras
* Fingerprint scanner

Looking at the advantages above, the F7 Youth dominates by having a higher resolution which will appeal mostly to users who want to have the best viewing experience possible. The Y85, on the other hand, has a slightly larger screen but doesn’t help much in terms of pixel density due to its lower resolution.

Storage-wise, both have dedicated microSD card slots but the F7 Youth gives you more space for your apps, photos, and videos for having a 64GB storage, double than what the Y85 can offer.

For imaging, this is a bit tricky as the F7 Youth has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front. Both are assisted with AI technology. The Y85 has two dual rear cameras consisting of a 13MP main and a 2MP secondary to aid in bokeh effects, and an 8MP front camera. Only the front camera was mentioned to be assisted by AI for beauty effects.

When it comes to security, both phones have the Face Unlock feature, however, the Y85 has the advantage of having a fingerprint scanner to make it more secure.

Powering the F7 Youth is the Helio P60 chip with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, while the Y85 has the Helio P22 chip with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Although both chipsets were fabricated on TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process technology, the F7 Youth provides a better performance. As for the battery, the F7 Youth has a larger capacity at 3,410mAh, but the Y85 is not far behind at 3,260mAh.

The OPPO F7 Youth is priced at Php13,990 while the Vivo Y85 is at Php13,999. Based on the specs, the F7 Youth provides more for the price for having the highest resolution display, largest storage, and the best performance.
