It seems that vivo will soon say farewell to Funtouch OS as the brand will rebrand to OriginOS 6.

vivo has confirmed that OriginOS 6 will be the brand’s new operating system for Android 16. It will officially launch at the vivo Developer Conference on October 10.

The first devices that will ship out with OriginOS 6 will be the vivo X300 series and iQOO 15. There is no official confirmation from vivo global themselves or any date for a global launch. Based on Funtouch OS now changing to OrignOS 6 in their X account, it looks like a global launch may soon after the launch of the aforementioned smartphones.
