Acer has just unveiled four new Chromebook laptops geared toward meeting the needs of students, teachers, and administrators in K-12 schools and the education sector as a whole.
Headlining the release is Acer’s all-new Chromebook Vero model, which was specifically designed for education purposes.
Specifically, Acer is launching the Acer Chromebook Vero 712, the Acer Chromebook Spin 512, the Acer Chromebook Spin 511, and the Acer Chromebook 511.
All four Acer Chromebooks are available with Chrome Education Upgrade, which allows IT staff and administrators to manage, deploy and plan for student learning. This is perfect for teachers who wish to vary their teaching styles within their classes.
Each new Acer Chromebook also has impact-resistant exteriors that meet MIL-STD 810H testing standards that allow them to withstand regular daily use in schools.
They also have keyboards that are spill-resistant, feature reinforced corner designs, and have moisture-resistant OceanGlass touchpads to make sure that the laptops last a whole school year and more.
As of writing, the exact specs, availability, and pricing in the Philippines are yet to be announced. It is confirmed, however, that such will vary by region.
