Apple M4 MacBook Air to debut in March –report

Listen to article

Refreshed Macbook Air could arrive as soon as next month in March, boasting Apple M4 Series of chipsets. There will be two models, a 13- and a 15-inch, just like the previous iteration.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is “preparing its marketing, sales and retail teams for the debut,” or so his sources say at least.

This also means that the company is gradually reducing inventory for current models.

At the same time last year, Apple unveiled the M3-powered MacBook Air, and then a couple of months after, the iPad Pro was released—the first device running of Apple M4 silicon.

In October, Apple released new iMacs, Mac minis, and MacBook Pros, all boasting the M4 series. By that time, the company also upgraded the standard memory for all M2 and M3 MacBooks (Air and Pro) to 16GB RAM.

Just last week, Apple introduced the iPhone 16e as its most affordable option in the iPhone 16 lineup. If Gurman’s sources speak the truth, then we should expect another Apple launch in a few weeks.
