Atari has just revealed their newest console: the Atari 7800+. It is made as a throwback to their retro console, the Atari 7800 ProSystem.
The Atari 7800+ is made to connect to HDMI ports on televisions. A new wireless controller is included with the Wireless CX78+ Gamepad. The console is able to run both Atari 2600 and 7800 game cartridges.
A free game is included inside the box which is the sequel to Crystal Castles: Bentley Bear’s Crystal Quest. Though a USB-C cable is added, users need to have their own power adapter.
The Atari 7800+ has a pre-order price tag of USD 129.99 or around PHP 7,326.63. If users want an additional controller, the Wireless CX78+ Gamepad goes for USD 34.99 which is about PHP 1,972.14. Atari says that the console will be available in winter 2024.
