Alongside the release of One UI 8.5 Beta 5, which also includes the February Android security patch, Samsung officially introduced the improved Bixby. Now described as a “conversational device agent,” the new Bixby is intended to comprehend natural language commands more effectively.

The update provides users with improved control over their phone settings. The user can use voice commands to prevent the screen from turning off which activates the correct setting through Bixby.
The assistant can perform live web searches, which show current information through the Bixby interface.
The new Bixby operates in multiple countries, including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US. One UI 8.5 will launch officially with the Galaxy S26 series on February 25.
