Converge confirms nationwide downtime
Converge has recently reported connectivity issues in Metro Manila and other nearby provinces.
UPDATE as of November 17, 2020, 6:07 PM: Converge has deployed on-site engineers to check the problem. They identified that it was a power-related issue that caused service interruption to its subscribers. Restoration of power to re-establish connectivity is currently ongoing.
According to the Facebook post of Converge ICT’s Support team, it is currently experiencing issues in its Data Center as of 1:10 PM of November 17, 2020. This heavily affects the connection of its subscribers nationwide.
Converge said that its technical team is currently working to resolve the issue and restore the affected subscribers’ connection.
