Converge has recently reported connectivity issues in Metro Manila and other nearby provinces. According to the Facebook post of Converge ICT's Support team, it is currently experiencing issues in its Data Center as of 1:10 PM of November 17, 2020. Converge said that its technical team is currently working to resolve the issue and restore the affected subscribers' connection. Converge also reports that it had installed over 1.7 million fiber ports nationwide during the same period including augmenting existing coverage and expanding to new cities and municipalities. In a report to the NTC, Converge has said that it has laid down over 523,000 kilometers of fiber nationwide, more than double from last year where they rolled out 260,000 kilometers of total fiber assets.
