The De La Salle University Laguna Campus has announced that it is offering a new 4-year degree in Game Development in partnership with Ubisoft.
The course is called Bachelor of Science in Interactive Entertainment major in Game Development. They also have BS in Interactive Entertainment major in Game Art and Design as part of the line-up.
The course offerings will start on the Academic Year 2018 – 2019. It is among the other 18 courses that will be offered for the graduating grade 12 students next year.
The same campus (DLSU Science and Technology Complex in Laguna) has earlier announced 2 similar bachelor courses, namely, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Major in Game Development (2018-2019) and Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (2018-2019).
The DLSU Laguna Campus is a 51-hectare complex located in the City of Biñan adjacent to the Laguna Technopark.
French multinational video game developing company, Ubisoft, known for games like Tom Clancy’s The Division, Far Cry Primal, and Assassin’s Creed, opened up a studio in Santa Rosa, Laguna last year.
