Epic Games releases Fortnite on Google Play Store

Fortnite, the famous player-versus-player battle online video game developed by Epic Games, is now available for download on Google Play Store.

Released in 2018, the Android version of the game was exclusively available through the Epic Games App. This initially required players to go to Epic Games’ website, install the Epic Games App, and download the game. Now, Android users can now directly install Fortnite right to their smartphones. This move also resolves issues that players encounter as Google, under Google Play Protect, continues to block third-party apps obtained outside Google Play Store.
