Fujifilm instax Link WIDE Smartphone Printer now official

Fujifilm has unveiled its latest instax line-up of printing devices called the instax Link WIDE smartphone printer (Link WIDE).

The Fujifilm instax Link WIDE smartphone printer is created to print images in a large format, on instax WIDE instant film, which is apparently a first for the brand’s smartphone printer category. The Link WIDE creates high-quality, wide instax instant prints from the photo roll on a smartphone via the free instax Link WIDE App (required for full functionality), connecting with printer via Bluetooth. Additionally, the App provides users with a variety of fun and creative features when printing their smartphone images.

The Link WIDE features a lightweight and handheld design. It can transfer and begin printing in about 12 seconds, support continuous printing, and is capable of generating about 100 instax prints per battery charge. Furthermore, the Link WIDE provides two printing modes; instax Rich which have deep warm colors, and instax Natural which emphasizes on inherent tones of the image.

Accompanying the Link WIDE is the new instax WIDE black instant film, which has a contrast of the traditional white-bordered look. The instax WIDE Black instant film will be available in a single pack with 10 exposures.

The instax Link WIDE smartphone printer is available in Ash White and Mocha Gray. It has a retail priced of EUR 149.99PHP 9,240USD 157INR 13,347CNY 1,147 and will be available for pre-order on October 13, with purchases to follow on the 22nd. The instax WIDE Black instant film will be available in late October and will be priced at EUR 10.99PHP 677USD 12INR 978CNY 84.
