Globe warns the public against fake online recruiters

Globe has recently warned the public against fake job advertisements posted on Facebook or other online platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.

According to Globe’s advisory posted on Facebook, some unscrupulous individuals use the Globe’s logo or careers page and misrepresent themselves as employees of the company. These fake online recruiters usually ask for reservation fees or COVID-19 rapid antibody testing fees to their victims, promising them job interviews.

To make their scheme realistic, some of them also issue forged employment contracts.

Globe reminds the public that the telco only posts job openings on its LinkedIn page or the Career page of its official website. It also clarified that its recruitment team does not request any fees to its applicants.
