itel has just launched a new budget smartphone called the itel P40.
The P40’s standout feature is its massive 6,000 mAh battery with support for 18W charging. itel says the P40 is capable of recording standby time of 57 days, talk time of 32 hours, music playback of 203 hours, and video playback of 28 hours.
It sports a 6.6-inch IPS display with a 1612 x 720 resolution, an SC9863A chipset, and a 13MP rear dual camera setup with a 5MP front camera.
The itel P40 will be available in 3 storage options: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 32GB of storage, and 7GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
These RAM options, however, are actually the final number after the inclusion of dynamic RAM so we don’t know for sure what the actual RAM number is. Aside from that, the P40 also has a fingerprint scanner on the back and face unlock.
The P40 starts at INR 7,699 or around Php 5,100 and you can get it in either Blue, Black, or Yellow. No word yet on Philippine availability but we’ll keep you updated if itel decides to bring it to our shores.
