Lalamove is expanding its ride-hailing service by offering better income opportunities for drivers, including a 2% commission rate and weekly incentives.
Drivers can now earn up to PHP 3,500 daily with five bookings, potentially reaching PHP 103,000 per month. With the low commission rate, drivers keep 98% of their earnings. This is one of the lowest rates in the industry, and not tied to meeting quotas or missions.
On top of regular earnings, Lalamove offers additional bonuses. Drivers can receive up to PHP 4,200 for every successful referral, earning up to PHP 2,000 in weekly incentives. This is done through ride missions, with riders also getting raffle entries for keeping key features like ‘See Ride Order First’ active.
Several Lalamove Ride drivers cited the low commission and earning flexibility as major advantages over competitors. One driver in Antipolo said the model helps him earn more for his family, while another noted he can switch between ride-hailing and deliveries to maximize income throughout the day.
Managing Director Djon Nacario said the company targets 20,000 partner drivers by year-end and emphasized that the 2% commission is a permanent offer, not a promo.
