Meta has just unveiled Movie Gen: an artificial intelligence (AI) video generator with footage and sound.

Meta has just revealed an AI video generator with Movie Gen. It uses text inputs and then creates new videos or edit existing images, footages and audio. The company also states that it can create customized video with images or use existing videos and add different elements.

Meta’s Movie Gen can change styles and transitions of videos that exist and insert elements that were not there.

Chris Cox, Chief Product Officer of Meta, states in Threads that Movie Gen is not “ready to release this as a product anytime soon”. We might need to wait when the program is officially ready to try it out.
