A new Apple 226 Flagship Store just went live on Shopee Mall on July 27th, 2024. This online store, promoted by Shopee itself, boasts an “Authorized Reseller” label.
It offers a wide range of Apple products, including the latest iPhone 15 Series, along with iPads, Macs, wearables, and accessories. They even have a flash sale to kick off their launch.
Shopee shared a Facebook post 460 about a promotion with “Daily Midnight Deals” that supposedly offered steep discounts for certain items, such as an iPhone 11 selling for PHP 727 or an iPhone 1 Pro Max for PHP 7,227 until supplies last.
However, these heavily discounted prices seemed to never reflect the actual pricing on the platform. A community note in an X post said, “During the flash sale, with exemption to a very few iPhone 11 items, none of these pricing reflected the actual price on the advertisement. The merchant’s [Facebook] post was flooded by screenshots and comments that the pricing was misleading.”
The Daily Midnight Deals mentioned above runs until July 31st and the next ones to supposedly get huge discounts are the following:
- Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) – PHP 728 (July 28)
- Apple iPad 1 0th Gen (Wi-Fi) – PHP 7,290 (July 29)
- Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, M1) – PHP 7,300 (July 30)
- Apple Watch Ultra 2 (GPS) – PHP 7,310 (July 31)
The store has been on the platform for over seven weeks now. Currently, almost all items, especially the iPhones, are selling for significantly lower prices. The store is also promoting 0% installment, likely facilitated by Shopee PayLater.
