Qualcomm S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 Sound platforms announced

Qualcomm has revealed the S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 Sound platforms designed for speakers, headphones, and earbuds. This has been announced alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Snapdragon X Elite 11.

The Snapdragon S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 sound platforms feature Bluetooth 5.4 and will deliver six times the compute power, providing a new tier of ultra-premium performance at low performance.

Meanwhile, the S7 Pro Gen 1 will be the first to support Qualcomm Expanded Personal Area Network Technology (XPAN) and micro-power Wi-Fi connectivity with up to 192kHz support of lossless music quality.
