The Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus have been unveiled. The Redmi Note 14 Pro Series promises to deliver toughness and refined curved display panels.
As per the image above, the Pro+ variant is in the middle with a darker camera module. The base Pro variant has more of a bare island.
Built to last, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ was awarded five stars by TÜV SÜD on their drop test. The phone’s internal build is said to be cushioned by polymer, rubber, and foam.
For display, it sports a 6.67-inch curved OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and QHD+ resolution. The screen also offers support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
In addition, this is the first Redmi device to have dual glass protection. At the front, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Meanwhile, the back panel is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, it’s equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. This comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a couple of storage options. The phone is available with either 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of optics, the phone uses a triple-rear camera system. It’s headlined by a 50-megapixel Omnivision Light Hunter 800 sensor with OIS. Next, users are treated to another 50-megapixel 60mm telephoto camera with 5x lossless zoom and an 8-megapixel ultra wide.
Plus, it has a 20-megapixel OmniVision OV20B front camera for selfies. The main camera can record videos up to 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps in slow-mo. As for the selfie shooter, it can record videos at 1080p at 60fps.
The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual nano-SIM. Lastly, it packs a 6,200mAh silicon-carbon anode battery that supports 90W of fast charging via USB Type-C.
The phone is rated for four years of fast charging, even able to survive being charged under extreme cold conditions. Other features include its IP68 rating, which was achieved by submerging the phone under two meters of water for 24 hours.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ starts at CNY 1,900 (~PHP 15K) with 12GB/256GB. It’s also available for CNY 2,100 (~PHP 17K) with 12GB/512GB. The highest configuration at 16GB/512GB is priced at CNY 2,300 (~PHP 18K).

Build-wise, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is almost identical to its Pro+ variant. However, the absence of Gorilla Glass protection on its back panel is notable. Other than that, it has varying textures depending on its colorway.
Speaking of color options, it has an extra Purple colorway available with a faux leather texture on its back panel. Along with the Green variant, this new colorway offers a dual-tone design.
While this device sports the same display setup, it’s powered by a different chipset. Under the hood, it features the Dimensity 7300 Ultra. This comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
For cameras, it scales back a bit. The phone sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide and 2-megapixel macro camera.
Video recording still caps at 4K at 30fps though. At the front, it’s equipped with the same 20-megapixel camera.
Moving on, the device packs a 5,500mAh lithium-polymer battery with 45W of charging via USB Type-C. The battery is rated to maintain most of its initial capacity after four years of use.
