According to reports, Redmi has been working on a gaming tablet featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ Chip, dual USB-C Ports, dual Speakers, and dual X-axis linear motors for improved haptic feedback.

Digital Chat Station or DCS has revealed the specifications of the gaming tablet and it might be possible for another successor, following the footsteps of its predecessor, the Redmi Pad Pro of last year. DCS has claimed that this gaming tablet in the making will come out very soon, around 3rd quarter of 2025.

The Redmi gaming tablet will also feature an 8.8-inch LCD screen and a higher refresh rate which will deliver a more immersive and smoother gaming experience.

Aside from Redmi’s gaming tablet rumors, the Redmi K80 Ultra was reported to equip the same chipset as the brand’s gaming tablet. Redmi’s K80 Ultra is said to debut around the same time as the tablet this year and will feature a flat OLED panel, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 7,000mAh+ battery pack, and 100W charging.

Along with the K80 Ultra unit, the vivo X200s, OPPO Find X8s, and iQOO Neo 10s are expected to acquire the same chip.

Although we still don’t have the exact date for the launch, it’s something we should look out for this year.
