SpaceX rebrands Starlink RV as Starlink Roam, offers global roaming

Starlink now has a global roaming option called Starlink Roam with a promise to give users access to wherever they are.

Formerly known as Starlink RV, Starlink Roam offers their customers to stay connected anywhere. In order for subscribers to have access to the internet practically anywhere, a satellite is used to track them. It costs $150 per month for regional access, or $200 per month for worldwide access. Customers have the same two options as with the RV package: a portable antenna for $599 or an in-motion antenna for $2,500. Formerly, you could only move around with Starlink’s satellite dish, commonly known as Dishy.

Starlink Roam, according to SpaceX, promotes the subscription as a way to maintain connections even in locations that have been unreliable or inaccessible. Additionally, users can interrupt their subscription at any moment and continue to be billed in one-month intervals.

Currently, Starlink Roam is available in the Philippines for PHP3,300 per month with a one-time hardware cost of PHP29,320. You can check out Starlink Roam right here.
