SpaceX rebrands Starlink RV as Starlink Roam, offers global roaming

Starlink now has a global roaming option called Starlink 346 Roam with a promise to give users access to wherever they are.

Formerly known as Starlink RV, Starlink Roam offers their customers to stay connected anywhere. In order for subscribers to have access to the internet practically anywhere, a satellite is used to track them. It costs $150PHP 8,803INR 12,712EUR 143CNY 1,092 per month for regional access, or $200PHP 11,737INR 16,950EUR 190CNY 1,456 per month for worldwide access. Customers have the same two options as with the RV package: a portable antenna for $599PHP 35,153INR 50,765EUR 570CNY 4,360 or an in-motion antenna for $2,500PHP 146,714INR 211,875EUR 2,381CNY 18,196. Formerly, you could only move around with Starlink’s satellite dish, commonly known as Dishy.

Starlink Roam, according to SpaceX, promotes the subscription as a way to maintain connections even in locations that have been unreliable or inaccessible. Additionally, users can interrupt their subscription at any moment and continue to be billed in one-month intervals.

Currently, Starlink Roam is available in the Philippines for PHP3,300USD 56INR 4,767EUR 54CNY 410 per month with a one-time hardware cost of PHP29,320USD 500INR 42,356EUR 476CNY 3,639. You can check out Starlink Roam right here.
