X photo editor gets new features

Listen to article

X has released a new update for its in-app photo editor, giving users more ways to change pictures directly inside the app.

The updated editor now lets users ask Grok AI to edit a photo by typing what they want. For example, users can describe a new background or simple changes, and the AI will try to apply them.

The app now provides functions which enable users to create face blurring effects, conceal image sections, make drawings on pictures, and include text elements. The editor offers capabilities that enhance its functionality to users who prefer photo editing software found in Google Photos. The new photo editor is already available on iPhone (iOS), while the Android version is expected to arrive soon.

X provides users with an all-in-one editing solution that improves their photo editing process through direct image editing capabilities that eliminate the need for external software.
