YouTube introduces AI training consent for content creators

Listen to article

YouTube will soon have a feature that will let content creators decide if they want their videos to train AI.

YouTube is going to implement a subsection that will allow its creators to let their videos be used for AI training. It will soon be found in the application’s Creator Studio under Third-party training.

The Third-party training subsection will indicate if the content creator will allow their video to be used by third-parties. This will then be used to train AI models from the content of the video.

The identification of the owner of the videos will be indicated by content ID.
