ZEISS ZX1 full-frame camera now official

Zeiss has officially unveiled its first mirrorless camera with a 37.4MP full-frame sensor, ZEISS Distagon 35mm f/2 T* lens, and fully integrated Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC – the ZEISS ZX1.

The ZX1 is the company’s first mirrorless camera with a 37.4MP full-frame sensor developed in-house at ZEISS. It features an integrated ZEISS Distagon 35mm f/2 T* lens, 4.34-inch (1280 x 720) multi-touch display, 0.7-inch OLED EVF, up to 4K 30fps video recording, USB-C port, 3,190mAh battery, and 512GB of memory.

It also has Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC fully integrated to the system so photographers can process RAW images directly on the camera, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, supports geotagging and remote control via smartphone and has a built-in microphone and speaker.

The ZEISS ZX1 will be available at selected dealers in early 2019. Pricing is yet to be announced.
