Dell outs XPS 10 and XPS Duo 12 on Windows 8

Dell started off with two new Windows 8 tablets in IFA — a 10-inch Dell XPS RT and a swivel-swinging 12-incher called the Dell XPS Duo 12.

The Dell XPS 10 will come with the tablet and the removable keyboard dock as a package (reminds us again of the Asus Transformer).

The XPS 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor running Windows RT. Both the tablet and the dock have separate internal batteries that will last to about 18 hours when combined.

The XPS Duo 12 on the other hand is the odd one which features a hinge with rotating swivel. That mechanism allows the display to rotate and settle on top of the keyboard to give it that tablet look.

The XPS Duo 12 will have a variety of configurations, including a 1080p display on Gorilla Glass, up to Core i7 processor, SSD and Windows 8.
