I guess you’re right YUGA about the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 being the most likely competitor of the iPod mini. Considering that the sell-point of the note 8 is still the S-pen and any counterpart of the S-pen is unheard off.

    • Avatar for WOOHOO WOOHOO says:

You can try Memo Express/Xpress(?). I don’t know if the place you live in have a branch on that store but they do accept BPI (I know ’cause I bought an HTC phone there with a 3 month plan)

If Samsung wants to dethrone iPad Mini, they should lower the price into competitive level. If they persist the 24K price, then goodbye to those valuable costumers, and I’m one of them..

I think the Galaxy Note 8.0 is not positioned against the iPad Mini. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is their most likely candidate and that’s the one that’s priced competitively.

There are many cheaper alternatives to a 8 inch form factor like the Archos 80 platinum or titanium which costs less than 8k php. Selling a 8.0 tablet at 23k pricetag is too much you can get an ipad already or a laptop or a nexus 10 : ) so goodluck to samsung sales of 8.0 tab : )

  15. Avatar for sandbox sandbox says:

Waaayyyy overpriced. Goodluck selling it : )

  17. Avatar for Freeje Freeje says:

Mighty high price so it won’t displace the iPad Mini then.

  20. Avatar for kit kit says:

ouch what happened to the estimated price of 18k sir?

    • Avatar for 3G 3G says:

well, it is 3G. Could be 18k if it was WiFi only, similar to the iPad Mini (21 for data, 15 for wifi)
