Google Maps now lets you remember where you parked

We use Google Maps to explore unfamiliar places. We often check out where our events are and if there are any nearby cafes for any work-related activities after. Aside from that, Google Maps will now help us remember where we parked our vehicles.

Here’s how the new feature works. For Android, when already parked, open the app and tap the blue dot. Click on the “Save your parking” to label the location. You can then add more details about your parking like some notes, time input, and image.

For iOS, the process is about the same. Although, iOS supports automatic parking detection whenever your phone is connected to the vehicle either via USB audio or Bluetooth.

The small but useful update is already available for both mobile operating systems.
