NextBit Robin receives final Android 7.0 Nougat update

Robin, NextBit’s cloud phone, is finally receiving some Nougat taste as the final update for the handset is currently rolling out to its users.

If you own a NextBit Robin, keep an eye on the update notification to Android 7.0 Nougat. It’s labeled as Build 88 and contains the January 5, 2017 security update for Android.

Not much has been detailed for the update but this version should have everything that Google built into the first Nougat iteration. Android 7.1.1 is still around the corner as Nextbit promised to keep software support for the Robin alive until 2018, despite being acquired by Razer last January.
