Though local availability of the new line of iPod Nano, iPod Touch and the 120GB Classic is still sparse, their prices have been made available on most Apple reseller stores. A patent application filed by Apple has just surfaced, showing what seems to be a device that combines both Apple's AirPods and their classic iPod or iPod Nano design. This looks to be another budding innovation from Apple but it is still in a form of a patent application so it will take a while for this "iPod-AirPod" combo to become reality (if at all). The music lives on as Apple is set to discontinue its iPod lineup Announced last Tuesday in Apple's Newsroom, it was made apparent that Apple will now be killing off its line of one of its most iconic devices, the iPod. “Music has always been part of our core at Apple, and bringing it to hundreds of millions of users in the way iPod did impacted more than just the music industry — it also redefined how music is discovered, listened to, and shared,” -- Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. It's time to say goodbye to Apple's dedicated music players as they have decided to discontinue the iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano.
