Apple has updated its MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro which are already available and officially priced in the Philippines. The updated Macbook Air retains the same specs; however, it now uses a True Tone feature to its Retina display. Apple has just unveiled the new 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the latest M5 chip. Apple claims that the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 can deliver: * Up to 7.7x faster AI video-enhancing performance in Topaz Video when compared to the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and up to 1.8x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4. The 14-inch Macbook Pro M5 has a starting price of $1,599. Apple may be planning to launch a cheaper MacBook model, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Unlike current MacBooks powered by Apple’s M-series chips, this upcoming model is expected to use the A18 Pro which is the same chip found in the iPhone 16 Pro. The device may come in multiple colors, including silver, pink, and yellow, and could retain the 13-inch display seen on the current MacBook Air.
