Apple has introduced today an updated 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display now equipped Force Touch trackpad, and a new configuration of the 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display. The Force Touch trackpad comes with built-in force sensors and a Taptic Engine that delivers haptic feedback. The updated 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and Force Touch trackpad comes in two starting configurations: 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz), 16GB RAM, 256GB PCIe-based flash storage, and Intel Iris Pro Graphics for $1,999. Apple claims that the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 can deliver: * Up to 7.7x faster AI video-enhancing performance in Topaz Video when compared to the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and up to 1.8x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4. Apple is preparing to refresh its MacBook Pro lineup, with industry insider Mark Gurman reporting that mass production of new models powered by the M5 chip is already underway. Apple has officially unveiled its newest lineup of laptops, the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.  The new Mac lineup is now powered with the M1 chip, Apple's first system on chip (SoC) designed for Mac.
