The Ayala and First Pacific-led company's new app for its famed money card lets you consolidate all your stored value beep cards in one account. Beep cards are mainly used for transport in major train systems, tollways, P2P buses, and new jeepneys. Coins.ph have introduced a way to check your beep card balances but it requires an NFC-enabled smartphone to do so. Starting today, September 20, students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) can now apply for white Beep cards over-the-counter. Student Beep cards with a 50% fare discount will be available starting September 15, 2025. The 50% fare discount will be available at all train stations using Beep cards. The DOTr has also added 300,000 new Beep cards to address demand. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has directed major e-commerce platforms to take down unauthorized Beep card listings.
