This is the same feeling I have with the announcement of the Canon 50D. - DIGIC 4 image processor - ISO 100 - 12800 support - 3.0-inch LCD Live View with face detection - HDMI output - 6.3fps burst mode The camera kit includes a Canon's EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. I got some shots and price list below: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came out sometime last week -- boasts of a 21.1 megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor, DIGIC IV. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800. The 50D will retail for Php64,950 for body only. Those looking into the entry-level dSLR might wanna check the EOS 1000D, a 10.1 MP dSLR very similar in form with the EOS 450D. Now this is going to disappoint those who bought the Canon 50D earlier and paid premium for it -- Canon's new entry level dSLR, the EOS Rebel T1i (commonly known as the Canon EOS 500D), now offers full HD video capture at 30fps.
