Launched early this year, the EOS 800D is the latest entry-level DSLR from Canon and is a direct successor to the previous EOS 750D. Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. I got some shots and price list below: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came out sometime last week -- boasts of a 21.1 megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor, DIGIC IV. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800. Among the dozens of new P&S cameras that Canon Philippines introduced yesterday, the Powershot D10 attracted the most curiosity. Actually, the Canon Powershot D10 can be considered as a submersible since you can bring it on a diving trip up to a depth of 10 meters (33 ft). Canon also included a number of face-plates you canchoose from. They did not give any price for this but it's already listed in Canon USA for $330.
